Professional Laptop Screen Repair and Replacement
A damaged display does not always mean the entire laptop needs replacing. The fault may be the LCD or LED panel, display cable, backlight circuit, hinge assembly or another component. Our technicians inspect the device before recommending a repair, helping you avoid paying for parts that are not required.
We repair screen faults on laptops from Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, Microsoft, Toshiba, Samsung and other manufacturers. Part availability, price and turnaround time depend on the exact model, panel size, resolution, connector position and refresh rate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Cheap Mobile Repair location should I contact?
You can visit our Burwood or Newtown stores in Sydney or our Adelaide CBD workshop. Parramatta is a booking/call-ahead drop-off and pickup point with no shopfront. Call ahead if your repair may require a model-specific part.
Can I bring my laptop in while I am shopping at Westfield Burwood?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome, so you can bring the laptop to our Burwood Road workshop before visiting Westfield Burwood, Burwood Park or Club Burwood RSL. We will inspect the damage, identify the exact model and explain the available screen options. If a suitable part must be ordered, we will tell you before you leave the device with us.
How much does a laptop screen replacement cost?
The price depends on the laptop model and the screen specification. Standard displays usually cost less than touchscreens, OLED panels, high-resolution screens and gaming displays. We confirm the part type and total price before ordering or fitting anything.
How long will the screen replacement take?
That depends mainly on whether the correct panel is already available. Common screens may be completed quickly once the part is on hand, while uncommon models can take longer because the panel needs to be ordered. We will give you a realistic timeframe after checking the model.
My screen is black but the glass is not cracked. Do I still need a new screen?
Not necessarily. A black display can also be caused by a damaged display cable, backlight fault, graphics problem or motherboard issue. We test the laptop first so that you are not charged for a replacement screen you do not need.
Can you repair damaged hinges at the same time?
In many cases, yes. We inspect the hinges, lid, frame and mounting points before fitting a new panel. Repairing structural damage is important because a loose or broken hinge can place pressure on the replacement screen.
Is the laptop screen replacement covered by warranty?
Eligible repairs include our six-month repair warranty, subject to the warranty terms. New cracks, pressure damage, impact damage and liquid damage are not covered.
