How much does iPad software repair cost?

Will I lose my data?

My iPad is very slow. Can that be fixed?
Often, yes. Slowness is usually storage that is nearly full, a background process misbehaving, or a version of iPadOS the hardware struggles with. Sometimes it is a failing battery instead, which we will check.
iPad stuck in recovery mode. Can you fix it?
Yes. Recovery mode loops are one of the most common software faults we see, usually after an interrupted update. In most cases we can get the tablet back without losing anything.
My iPad will not update. Why?
Usually not enough free storage, or a partly downloaded update that has corrupted. Both are fixable, and neither means the tablet is finished.
Do you remove iCloud locks or passcodes?
No. We do not bypass activation locks or passcodes, and we ask for proof of ownership on any locked device. It protects you as much as anyone else.
Apps keep crashing. Software or hardware?
Usually software, particularly after an iPadOS update. Where crashes come with heat, sudden shutdowns or restarts, the cause is more likely the battery or the board, and we check for that.
How long does it take?
Most software repairs are same day. Some restores take a few hours to run through, but the tablet never leaves our workshop.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, six months on our workmanship. Software faults caused by later user changes are not covered, but we will always explain what caused the original problem.
